No les voy a mentir, vivir en Nueva York, no es nada fácil, especialmente cuando estas tratando de entrar al mundo tan competitivo de la moda… Definitivamente nunca me puse a pensar en  el lado oscuro de este negocio… Nada comparado con lo que uno ve en las películas.

Lo que pintaba para ser un excelente fin de semana, bueno se convirtió en uno que me abriría los ojos de cómo realmente se manejan y están las cosas en esta ciudad… Pero la verdad, no creo que ustedes quieran escuchar de eso, así que enfoquémonos en lo bueno y comencemos su sección favorita Esta Semana en GuySpy en Español.

Mi fin de semana comenzó con un divertido viernes. Mi amigo Alexander Guerra (artista y fotógrafo de Miami) visitó la Gran Manzana para atender a la fiesta “Anonymous” del talentoso e impúdico artista visual Gio Black Peter… No les voy a contar demasiado, por el momento; ya que escribiré acerca del evento la próxima semana. Pero una cosa si deben de saber, lo que paso en ese cuarto oscuro (así es, dije cuarto oscuro)  se queda en ese cuarto oscuro.

Tuve la gran fortuna de asistir al MET Gala 2013, bueno al menos como paparazzo al otro lado de la alfombra roja… Y aunque yo no estaba precisamente como invitado, me sentí todo una celebridad. El hecho de haber presenciado con mis propios ojos el vestuario tan criticado por todos los medios de mis estrellas favoritas fue increíble. La mejor parte de vivir en Nueva York es la vida nocturna… Solo síganme en Foursquare y se darán cuenta que los lugares que mas frecuento son antros y bares. Uno de mis favoritos, XL Nightclub es conocido por presentar eventos y artistas de tallas internacionales. Tal es el caso de Papa World Tour, la fiesta que el hombre más sexy del Medio Oriente Eliad Cohen comenzó en Tel Aviv… Y aunque no estuve precisamente impresionado con su actuación, la producción del evento fue genial. Among those beautiful men is Eliad Cohen, Israeli producer, actor, model, entrepreneur, co-founder of Gay-Ville, and producer of the internationally renowned PAPA party.

The party, founded in 2010 in Tel Aviv was a total success. It was so big that Eliad decided to take it around the world. Cities like Madrid, Paris, Playa del Carmen, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal and of course, New York City have been under the spell of this mesmerizing man.

And XL Nightclub was the venue chosen for the latest PAPA party in New York City, and yours truly was there to bring you the details of the event.

With beats from Ivan Gomez (Barcelona) and Roberto Barbero (PAPA resident – London) the music was great. Throughout the whole night I couldn’t stop dancing, with my favorite songs playing one after the other… From Riri’s Stay to Calvin Harris Sweet Nothing, etc.

What’s up with the Tommy Hilfiger boxers?

The production of the PAPA party is amazing and Eliad Cohen is such a stud… but c’mon, what’s up with the Tommy Hilfiger underwear? So 1998!!

Anyway… Joined on stage by the pretty Yasmine Petty and the shameless Amanda Lepore who performed completely naked – It was quite a show… Also, go-go boys Mike Espinoza, Jeorgie Chamorro and Vasa Nestorovic danced with their mustaches on, and not much else.

Un Domingo más en la grandiosa ciudad de Nueva York, aun no puedo creer que estoy viviendo aquí, y aunque no ha sido nada fácil adaptarme a la “jungla de concreto” he disfrutado completamente cada día.

Los verdaderos mexicanos no celebramos el 5 de Mayo como lo hacen los gringos… pero como estoy en el gabacho,  me tengo que acoplar a las nuevas costumbres. Así que para no quedarme atrás el día de ayer decidí lanzarme a celebrar la Batalla de Puebla…

¡Viva Mexico!

Mother Burger en Midtwon fue la primera parada… Una margarita con cerveza incluida, ¿por qué no? Después seguí ala fiesta en Boxers Sports Bar en Hell’s Kitchen, donde para subir a la terraza hay que hacer fila… Medio raro, pero bueno… En fin, no eran ni las 8:00pm cuando yo ya estaba un poco ebrio… Así que ahora les escribo con una cruda y un dolor de cabeza insoportable…  Pero lo bailado ni quien me lo quita.

Hablando de mexicanos, uno que se esta dando a conocer en los Estados Unidos y no por buenas razones es el ex  RBD Christian Chávez, que apareció en los tabloides norteamericanos tras ser detenido después de una pelea con su novio… Hay estas jotitas, ni la fama ni el dinero les puede comprar clase. Aquí la historia.

En GuySpy sabemos como divertirnos y siempre lo hacemos con los hombres más guapos… Por ejemplo, el fin de semana pasado nuestro nuevo Fitness Guyd Philip Fusco se presento en Splash Bar, donde debuto su nueva campaña para Gregg Homme. Esta Semana mi modelo preferido sin duda alguna fue Parker Hurley… Este chico aparte de estar hermoso, es super cool y medio nerd, algo que me prende al 100%… Y además, tiene una afinación con superhéroes cosa que lo hace más atractivo para mí.

Este mes sin duda lo empezamos con el pie derecho… Nuestro chico para el Mes de Mayo es el actor porno Jordan Levine, y nuestro Editor David Toussaint nos presento una entrevista acompañada con unas imágenes de este sensual hombre que no dejan nada a la imaginación. A few weeks ago we introduced Philip Fusco as GuySpy’s Official Fitness Guyd. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have this Atlas-with-Eyebrows on board. Not only is he as delicious to drink up as the Long Island Iced Teas named after his birthplace, but he’s smart too!

On April 19, the man himself invited Senior Editor David Toussaint and Yours Truly to Splash Bar F*Word Fridays, for 2BExposed’s Gregg Homme Party. It was a rainy New York night, but that couldn’t stop me or anyone else from missing the opportunity to hang out with the PhF. He’s such a nice guy; easy-going and down to earth, and, I know it sounds like a cliché, but shorter in person than I would have thought.

Toussaint and I hung out with the model all night… A couple pictures here and there, a couple drinks here and there, a lot of hot, straight girls and their hot, straight guys who arrived as Phil’s Italian-American posse, more drinks, more fun! And between you and I, Toussaint is kind of a good dancer even if he does keep his shirt on… Is that why they call him Top Guyd?

It was finally time to watch the debut of his Greg Homme campaign, and a shirtless Fusco made it to the stage, showing off some skimpy purple briefs that were giving the drag queens a run for the attention money. Purple briefs on the Italian Stallion? Yum-E!

Oh! What a night. Watching Phil’s homoerotic, mesh-underwear, butt-baring commercial made me want to tell him to strip down right then and there and show me the Full Monty. For professional reasons, of course… After all, I do need to check out our GuySpy investments.  ;)

Los últimos días en Nueva York han sido magníficos… La temperatura ideal, tremendas fiestas y la mejor actitud.

Quien hubiera pensado que después de tanto tiempo queriendo llegar a la “Capital de la Moda” lo lograría y de la mejor manera. No solo conseguí dos de las  internships que quería, también vivo en uno de los barrios más trendy y gay de la ciudad: Chelsea.

Tan solo basta caminar por la Octava Avenida para darse un buen taco de ojo… ¡Maldita Sea! Aquí todos los hombres son bellos. Pero, conseguir una cita en Nueva York es tan difícil como conseguir un taxi durante un día lluvioso, ¡casi imposible!…

Es por eso que hace unos días atrás decidí borrar mis perfiles de las redes gay sociales (excepto GuySpy ¡duh!) y a partir de ahora solo me enfocare en el trabajo, de esta manera podre traerles muchísimo más contenido a una de sus secciones favoritas Esta Semana en GuySpy en Español.

Después de haber pasado unos días en el departamento de un amigo, luego en el sofá de alguien por más de dos semanas, por fin puedo decir que oficialmente vivo en Nueva York…

Lo que se suponía que iba a ser un viaje de dos semanas, se ha convertido en  mi sueño hecho realidad. Desde que vi “El Diablo viste a la Moda” fantaseaba con vivir en “La Gran Manzana”  y trabajar en una revista… Ahora no solo vivo en “la ciudad que nunca duerme” pero también tengo el trabajo que todos quieren… Asistente en una revista de moda para hombres.

Vivir en Nueva York tiene sus ventajas y desventajas… La renta y los servicios son muy caros, pero la calidad de vida, las fiestas y la vida nocturna es ¡magnifica! Y para que no digan que me los ando cuenteando, hoy empezaremos su sección favorita Esta Semana en GuySpy en Español con una de las fiestas más prendidas de la ciudad…

Room Service Club es un concepto creado en Londres por la extraordinaria Jodie Harsh y solo apenas unos meses atrás esta espectacular fiesta llego a la ciudad. Personalidades como Mickey Broadman (Editor en Jefe de la Revista Paper) modelos como Sebastian Sauve, Daniel Garofali y  y estrellas del porno como Francois Sagat, Austin Wilde y Kyle Santana todas se reúnen aquí para bailar y pasarla genial. Y claro que su servidor no se quedo atrás, aquí la prueba de lo bien que la pase…

Hablando de modelos, el musculoso y guaperrimo Philip Fusco se suma al equipo de GuySpy. Este chico además de ser una cara bonita, es un ávido al gimnasio y se nota. El estará compartiendo con ustedes sus mejores recetas para una dieta saludable al mismo tiempo que sus tips en el gym. Así que denle una cordial bienvenida

Just a few weeks ago, London’s iconic Room Service Club party, created by the legendary Jodie Harsh, landed in New York. Fortunately for me I got to stay another week in town. So of course, I was there last Wednesday night too. I just had to be there! If you’re in New York you must “check-in” at Room Service Club every Wednesday night at Tenjune Bar, 26 Little West 12^th St, in the Meat Packing District. Open bar until 11pm.

You know you won’t get this kind of service anywhere else, so please make sure to wear tons of glitter and your sluttiest/fiercest outfit, otherwise don’t expect to be ‘serviced’ at this ‘hotel.’

Ya se me esta haciendo costumbre escribirles cada dos semanas en vez de cada Domingo. Pero en mi defensa, he estado súper ocupado saliendo con estrellas del porno,  modelos y celebridades en Nueva York, así que ustedes me disculparan…

Si nos han estado siguiéndonos en Facebook se habrán dado cuenta que ya hay una nueva versión iOS para los usuarios de  iPhone. El “look” de la aplicación es mucho más sencillo y parecido al blog. En lo personal, me encanta… Y espero que a ustedes también y sino, los invito a que nos califiquen en la App Store y nos dejen saber que les gusta y que nos les gusta de la nueva versión. Pero sean amables y no anden de culeras ¿ok?

Otra novedad en GuySpy es que ya estamos en Flickr. ¡Sí! En Flickr. Ese sitio web que te permite subir fotos y hace ver tu galería como todo un profesional. Para ser honestos, me canse de que Facebook nos estuviera bloqueando a cada momento y como ustedes se merecen ver que tanto trabajo sin censura… Pues aquí la solución. Chequen el link acá y por favor no se pongan celosas de lo mucho que “trabajo”.

Otra semana más otro GuySpy Real Guy of the Week. Esta vez me encontré a un chico Libanes que no es nada pudoroso, cosa que a mi me viene muy bien. ¿No es gracioso que siempre platico con chicos que les encanta el sexo en lugares públicos? ¡Mejor para mí! Aquí el link.

Tuve la fortuna de atender a The Hookies 2013 como parte de la Black Party Expo. Y me sorprendió que entre toda la sensualidad y diversión del evento, los organizadores se tomaron la molestia de dedicar un espacio a la memoria de los actores porno que desafortunadamente ya no se encuentran con nosotros. Es una tristeza que estos chicos se sientan tan juzgados por la misma comunidad gay a tal grado que toman el suicidio como la mejor manera de enfrentar esta situación. Nuestro Colton Ford nos habla más de cómo la industria de la pornografía puede marcar tu vida… Aquí la historia.

Definitivamente los viernes se han estado convirtiendo en mis días preferidos. Aparte de ser el comienzo del fin de semana, los chavos de The Underwear Expert siempre me tienen hombre como a mi me gustan. Con estilo, tatuajes, y un look alternativo… Ricky Hall se llevo mi erección.

Otro que también tiene toda mi completa atención es Alex Minsky, GuySpy’s Man for March. Este adonis con su belleza única, coraje e inteligencia se gano mi corazón. ¿Cómo no vas a poder amar a un chico que dice que no es gay pero que es toda una princesa? ¡Lo ame! As many of you might know I’m in the city that never sleeps… New York City! One of the many things I love about the Big Apple is you can meet people from all over the world. I’ve only been here for two weeks and so far I’ve made out with a Greek God (literally), been on a date with a French Daddy and I just meet some lads from London at Starbucks.

I am very new here, but I like it because you can get whatever you want in a classy way. Also, I love the map feature, very useful when traveling.

Well my perfect guy is one with beard, preferably with black hair, muscled, somewhat hairy, radiant eyes, tall and fit. I’m also very attracted to guys with their upper lip smaller than the lower one; this makes such a cute smile.

What’s the craziest place you ever had sex? Tell us about it.

It was with a friend and we were so hard.  One day, while walking in the woods we found a very old house with no ceiling and falling apart. We started fucking but it started raining right away. It got cold, but we didn’t stop till both of us came…

What’s your dirty little secret?

My dirty little secret is that I have a crush on my coworker, and I’ve been watching him while he changes clothes.

Who would you say is a good role model (straight or gay, female or male) for the gay community? Why?

In my opinion, Katy Perry is a good role model.  She’s always giving hope to gay people. Her song “Firework” empowers everybody and tells you it’s OK to be who you are.

Isn’t it weird I always find guys into public sex? Oh well, works for me…
