Wine Cooler: Favorita: This week’s white-grape wine is from northwestern Italy in the Piedmonte region. While many people may have had other Piedmontese grapes, such as Arneis and Cortese, Favorita is a different combination of citrus sorbetta, passionfruit, kumquat, pixie-dust minerality, and a zesty pucker. Perfect for Spring.

What’s the Buzz? Town Branch Bourbon: It’s dubbed “liquid gold,” with lightly roasted and lightly oaked grains that have elegant flavors of apricot, butterscotch, and blanched blond almonds.

Want a great Bourbon recipe? We love this one a lot. Because sometimes it’s nice to be a little old-fashioned. http://www.drinkswap.com/bourbon-old-fashioned.htm.

I love the second recipe! Definitely the perfect pairing for a warm spring day! I used a fresh raspberry instead of the cherry and it made it even better! :D
