People often ask me what they can do to build and tone their chest. Before I mention bench press or any weighted exercise, I tell them to start doing push-ups. Push-ups exercise the pectoral muscles, triceps, and anterior delts. They also integrate the core, serratus anterior, and the midsection—read, additional buffness!

Just push play!

Take my ten-minute push-up challenge three times a week for the next three weeks, and watch your chest pop. Complete as many push-ups as possible in one minute (if you stop for a second, keep going until time is up), rest for one minute, and repeat four times. Lower your body in a “plank” position, flat as a board. Don’t worry about how many you complete as long as you push yourself for the full minute. Do not cheat. Lower you body until your chest is 2 inches above the ground and push up all the way.

Now hit the mirrors and admire your treasure chest.
