IIn the biggest switch since Chaz grew a pear, Lords South Beach is transforming into Lords New York, if only for a week (June 18-24). Miami’s first gay boutique hotel is bringing their retro-hot digs to Hotel on Rivington, just in time for Gay Pride.

The “Pop-Up Hotel” concept is the brainchild of Lord’s founder Brian Gorman, whose property is a favorite of New York dudes, who head to the SoBe hut for heat, hipness, and hot boys. It also gives a chance for local South Florida boys to hit NY Pride and finally stay in one of Lords yellow-and-Liz Taylor rooms.

“It’s really like gay summer camp,” says Gorman on the concept. “Our staff is going to be around twenty-four hours a day; we’re bringing bartenders, promoters, DJ’s. The artist who did our lobby has donated a piece.”

Lords is offering a weekly schedule of Pride Events, and is the Host Hotel for the Day Party on June 23. They have a slew of other activities planned, so none of you day-campers will miss Mom too much; and you might just find your new Daddy!
