Wow…you are going to be busy!

Well, yes, but I love it!  I’m especially looking forward to Typhoon Lagoon on June 1 and the release of Gay Days Vol. 9.  I’m excited to have been the DJ for all nine Gay Days CDs.

In addition, BetBoyz (which is my remix production name with music partner David Boyd) wrote and remixed a new song, sung by Joe Conti  called “When It Comes To Love”  to be released in May…or debut on the GayDays Vol. 9 cd possibly…the song was just signed to be in the upcoming release of the film “Bear City 2″, coming out in June.

Some of our BetBoyz music will also be appearing in a new documentary film,  ”Raid of the Rainbow Lounge”, this summer.

The Groove Factory, A Musical’: which is a full scale musical theater piece that we (BetBoyz) produced original music and lyrics and my music partner David Boyd, along with his writing partner Chad Kessler, wrote the script…was accepted at the prestigous NYMF (New York Musical Theater Festival).  The Groove Factory will be the first production of its kind—fully scored by electronic music—focusing on one day at a club…December 31, 1999.

We have just begun the fundraising effort required to produce this production and the festival will be giving us actual dates for the performances soon (it will run for 6 showings sometime between July 9 – 29.   Will update you on this when we have more info.  The website is

Speaking of clubs, what are you seeing today on the dancefloor?

What I’ve noticed as what is really hot in clubs these days is the way a lot of clubs are upgrading their lighting to include LED screens which adds another level of excitement and entertainment if they are used right.

Randy, thanks again for your time with the Music Guyd.  We look forward to hearing more from you!

My pleasure!
