If you guys follow my Instagram account you should know by now that when it comes to parties I’m an expert. Even though I love to party like a rock star, GuySpy and I also enjoy supporting the LGBT community whenever we can.

That’s why on September 8th we teamed up with the guys at ‘mizu’ Salon New York for a very special event benefiting Cycle for the Cause.

Cycle for the Cause, the 19th Annual Northeast AIDS Ride, (September 20-22) is a fully supported, three-day, approximately 275-mile bike ride from Boston to New York City to raise funds for the HIV/AIDS related programs and services of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City.

Salon services were FREE of charge for a donation of our guests choosing. Between you and I, services typically range upwards of $150 and a lot of celebrities get their hair done here…

Needless to say I was very excited to get my haircut at the salon and they did not disappointed me. Head massage while getting shampooed – Yes, please!!! My hair stylist for the day Lena An did a fantastic job, don’t you think?

Guests also enjoyed drinks, hors d’oeuvres and great, deep, house beats from DJ and Producer Sean Espo.

I talked to my good friend and host David Monberg (who will be part of the ride) so he could tell us more about it… Biking for three days to raise money for HIV programs, thumbs up mi amigo!

In the end it was a terrific event and we raised thousands of dollars for the cause! Thanks to all the people who made this event possible…
