The 2013 Mr Gay Hong Kong® winner will be determined from a composite tally based on 60% judges’ ratings, 30% public vote, and 10% score from staff of the Mr Gay Hong Kong® Organization.

A celebrity panel of judges will rate the finalists on their platform speeches, swimwear, formalwear, and interview; the public vote is determined from finalists’ pre-finale popularity on www.mrgayhongkong.com, social media channels, and real-time votes from the Grand Finale audience; and the MGHKO vote is tallied from directors, photographers, stylists, and volunteers.

This year’s panel of judges is made up of the following news makers:

Joanne Ooi, Founder, Plukka
Helena Chan, Finalist, Asia’s Next Top Model
Kasper Wan, Female-to-Male Transgender Activist
Michael Vidler, Barrister and Human Rights Activist
Adam White, Editor, HK Magazine

The 2013 Mr Gay Hong Kong® Grand Finale will be held on October 19, Saturday, 7pm, on the terrace of Giorgio Armani’s flagship club in Asia, ARMANI/PRIVÉ. The program will be MC’d by blogger, columnist and Mr Gay Hong Kong® founder, James Gannaban, with performances by Hong Kong’s first and only drag cabaret, Les Fleurs Sauvages.
