The LGBTQ community is no stranger to stereotyping. Sex, gender, race, body type — these are the wonderful things that make us all unique, but also the things that can divide and label us. In a new documentary short, You’re Cute for a Black Guy, filmmaker Cameron Johnson discusses his experience with race and racism in gay dating. And as he reveals, he’s definitely not the only one experiencing this kind of objectification.

To me in my life I see only one race on this big planet worth dating and that’s the HUMAN race. There is NO such thing as a color in the human race we are all the same.

Sadly I can relate but like many things in life I find is that I’m not the problem just born into a reality of problems. Though I don’t have the power to save the world, WE ALL CAN summon the strength, courage and wisdom to be the change we want to see and basically not be a basic bitch lol
