It only takes one quick YouTube search of Britney Spears’ “I’m A Slave 4 U” from the 2001 MTV Video Awards to know that Brit Brit has a history of gyrating rather than singing live. And it only takes another quick search to see her horrifying “Gimme More” “performance.” Brit ain’t known for singing live, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

But this is Vegas, oh baby baby. RadarOnline reports that the first 16 shows of Britney’s new show, Britney: Piece of Me, are not selling well, with only 3 of the already announced shows sold out. Her people are even calling it “a disaster,” according to an insider. Honestly, can we be that surprised? I’m not saying Brit isn’t preparing hard to wow her fans when her stage show starts in December, or that she doesn’t have selling power, but this is the place were people come to be amazed. Think Celine Dion, or Shania Twain, whose shows both sold out right away. Think Cher or Bette Midler, or  Come On Over or Falling Into You, then think …Baby One More Time. If she wants to make it there, looks like she’s going to have to work bitch.
