The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have always been known for innovative videos, so it’s no surprise that they’ve hit it out of the park once again. The track “Mosquito” is paired with a clip of a boy being bitten by a mosquito. As the creature leaches off the little boy the music begins to get more intense until the insect is a multicoloured creature of immense size.

Naturally, I was apprehensive, as I’m far from a fan of biting bugs and blood-sucking insects. However, it’s actually a really cool video and an even better song!

So, is “Mosquito” beautiful or does it just bite?

There new album, Mosquito, is poised to be released April 16 and is said to have “something for everyone.” If it is anything like their past works then it is sure to blow us all away!  You can hear more HERE.
